ERIN CARSTEN

Hey there! I’m a family and newborn photographer based in Lennox, SD. I’m also a mom of three, so I know a thing or two about wrangling little ones and catching those sweet moments in between the chaos.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually laughing way too hard at The Office, geeking out over Marvel movies, enjoying an extra large glass of chocolate milk, or trying not to bounce my kids off the trampoline. Basically, I’m just a big kid at heart, which really helps me connect with yours.

My sessions are relaxed, fun, and all about helping your family feel like yourselves. I’ll bring the energy (and probably a few silly faces) to make sure we get photos you’ll love forever.

ABOUT THE BUSINESS

3 CORD PHOTOGRAPHY

My photography journey started with a love of looking through family photo albums. I started off with kids film cameras, bought my first digital camera on a Black Friday deal, and my first DSLR after high school.

In college, I took a few photography classes and photographed my cousin’s wedding. Eventually, my husband and I teamed up as 3 Cord Weddings, a name inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12

In 2019, Drysen stepped away from the business, and I shifted my focus to newborn and family photography. That’s how 3 Cord Photography was born. These days, I specialize in capturing the sweet, silly, and heartfelt moments of families, from newborn sessions to holiday-themed mini shoots.
